Working with Larson Systems Inc. is a little like going to the grocery store. But instead of asking, "Paper or plastic?" we ask, "Vertical or horizontal? Four sides, or six?"
We're a complete machine shop, offering everything from multi-sided horizontal or vertical milling, to electronic and mechanical assembly. Whether you're seeking a prototype or a full-blown production run, we're here to help.
CNC Machining Centers
Haas EC400 with Pallet Pool - The accuracy and versatility of this machining center allows us to practice “lights out” manufacturing, doubling our daily production capacity and getting your job done faster.
New to us in 2008, the Haas EC400 horizontal machining center has:
- 20" x 20" x 20" (508 x 508 x 508 mm) XYZ travels
- 400 mm twin-pallet system with 6-pallet fully integrated pallet pool
- 20-hp, dual inline direct drive (Y-Delta)
- 8,000 rpm, 40 taper, 70-tool side-mount toolchange
- Belt-style chip-conveyor system
- 1-degree pallet indexing
- 300-psi through-spindle coolant
- 80-gallon coolant system
Each of the 400 mm pallets in the EC-400PP’s 6-station pool has a load capacity up to 1,000 lb (660 lb with full 4th axis). The pallets can be scheduled individually according to priority and sequencing requirements, so high-priority parts can be machined first and/or staged more often.
Haas VF 5 - This machine, paired with our HRT 310B, SHRT 210H, or our HRT 210H indexers, cuts down production time, eliminates scrapped parts, and greatly expands the types of parts we can produce. The on-board probing and inspection system allows full part inspection before the part leaves the machining area.
The Haas VF5 vertical machining center has:
- 50" x 26" x 25" xyz travels
- Integrated 4th axis rotary indexer.
- 40-taper cartridge spindle powered by a 30 hp 10,000-rpm vector Dual-Drive (Y-Delta) motor running through the 2-speed geared head.
The unit has through spindle coolant and a Haas probing system which functions as a coordinate measuring system on the machine center.
Haas VF 4SS #1 – We can outfit this machine with a chick tombstone vice to run multiple parts with minimal operator interface. We pass the labor savings on to you.
The Haas VF-4SS vertical machining center has:
- 50" x 20" x 25" xyz travels
- Fully integrated 4th axis indexer
- 12,000-rpm inline direct-drive spindle, an ultra-fast tool changer and 1400-ipm rapids
The direct drive spindle provides better surface finishes, thermal stability and very quiet operation. The 40+1 side-mount tool changer take less than 1.5 seconds tool to tool. The unit has through-spindle coolant and a Haas probing system which functions as a coordinate measuring system on the machine center.
Haas VF 4SS #2 - The Haas VF-4SS vertical machining center has 50" x 20" x 25" xyz travels. It is equipped similarly to our other VF4, but with a 24+1 side-mount tool changer that takes less than 1.5 seconds tool to tool. The Haas probing system allows for most efficient operation.
Kia KV35C - The Kia machines parts to fit within a 23.6” x 17.7” x 20” envelope. It also features a 10,000-rpm spindle, 4.5-second chip-to-chip tool changes, 20-tool magazine and rapids of 787 IPM. This all adds up to short machine cycles and high-quality, competitively priced parts.
Dahlih 610 - The 610 machine works pieces that fit an 18” x 26” x 20” envelope. This 6,000-rpm spindle machine is very well suited for fabricating aluminum parts. A 16-position automatic tool changer completes parts fabrication without operator intervention. Rapid travels of 472 in. per minute.
Dahlih 1020 - The workhorse of our shop, this machine has a 20” x 40” x 22” work envelope that allows fabrication of longer parts. It also allows multiple fixturing of smaller parts, or several surfaces on the same part. A two-speed spindle gives us plenty of power for heavy cuts on alloy steel parts. This machine can automatically change up to 26 tools to fabricate very complicated parts.
CNC Drilling / Tapping & Machining
Our robo drills allow one person to operate both machines simultaneously to increase productivity. The operator can easily run the first operation on one machine, and the second operation on the other. These machines are used for high-speed, high precision, and high-rigidity machining of light alloys and multi-piece set-ups of small parts. They have a work envelope of 15” x 20” x 13”.
Fanuc Robo Drill T14A - A premier high speed CNC machining center, this 30 taper machine has 1890 IPM on the X and Y and Z axes, combined with 1-second tool changes. It has 14 tools and an 8,000-rpm spindle. High Speed Rigid Tapping to 1/4-20 thd.
Fanuc Robo Drill T10B - A high speed CNC Machining Center. This 30 taper machine has 1417 IPM on the X and Y and 1181 IPM on the Z axis, combined with one-second tool changes. It has 10 Tools and an 8,000-rpm spindle. Rigid tapping to 1/4-20 thd.
